needs:
improved controls- the controls are way too confusing
improved graphics- are we playing a poor man's medieval version of antbuster?
more fun- maybe you could use your creative talents by adding more color than the stereotypical dark green/brown middle aged look. You could infuse a retro look with robotic enemies or combine a wild actrion with jungle animals. I dont care. If it isnt the style you were looking for, then hey whatever(not my game), but the game just isnt fun.
I did enjoy the sound, though, and the story and game layout is nice.
